I don't know what to do anymore. It's completely irrational! I do care to an extent about what people think of me, and I definitely don't want to embarr myself... but this is too much. Whenever someone looks at me, I flinch and my eyes start watering up. Then, since I am afraid people will notice my watery eyes, I start blushing. Then, I am afraid people will notice me blushing, and I blush redder, until my entire face is really hot, and THEN my face gets sweaty. It's disgusting! And it is driving me crazy! I can't even make eye-contact with people, I hate being the center of attention, I just want to be left alone. But, at the same time... I love people. I find them really interesting, and love having debates and verbal exchanges with them. Plus, I really care about people in general. So, cutting myself off from them to spare myself this humiliation, as well as extreme and irrational feelings of terror... it just depresses me. So, now I am wondering if I have depression as well. I really think I would be better off dead. What is the point of anything? I can never live up to my own standards, or anyone else's, so why try? I won't stop trying, though... I'm very stubborn... but I need help. Badly. I have already attempted suicide once, and I am not trying to get attention by saying this, I am just trying to explain just how serious this problem is. My parents say that if I want medication, I have to buy it myself. They refuse to take me to the doctor to be diagnosed, and I don't even KNOW what kind of medication I need. So, I was wondering if there are any foods/fruits/herbs that people generally have in their homes, that might be able to help me. I already know about relaxation techniques, but they don't seem to work. I can hardly even sleep at night, I'm just always so tense. I'm super wired, but at the same time I am exhausted. Chicago vs. Atlanta?

If by "outdoor activities" you mean stuff like hiking, rock climbing, etc., Chicago's not the place for that. We're a big urban city with millions of people, not a wilderness town. The only hiking we have is hiking up the stairs to the street from the subway and the only "rock climbing" is on a couple of articifial walls at a couple of health clubs. If you want real outdoor activities, you're going to probaby have to drive a couple of hours outside the city. Our outdoor activities include sitting in a sidewalk cafe eating people watching, going to a street fair or the Taste of Chicago, hanging out on a friend's back porch or balcony drinking beer or riding your bike along the lakefront. You can fish here in a few of the lagoons and you can take a canoe ride on one of the branches of the Chicago river, but that's about as outdoors as we get. But it's still a great city and sure beats the heck out of Atlanta.

Allergy help please? Anyone?

I have always had some allergies, but this year it has been worse than ever. My lips and tongue swell up some, I have asthma, and worst of all I get a HORRIBLE runny nose and get extremely congested. My runny nose is so bad, that I get up in cl to blow it, and less than five minutes later I need to do it again! It's so embarring. I was wondering if there were any tips, or home remedies that would help my nose or other symptoms. Even medicines that would help. I have tried Clariten D which seems to work some of the time, and use an inhaled decongestant, but that doesn't really help the runny nose any. I think I'm allergic to pollen if that helps any.

Why do I only cough when I lay down?

so i recently came down with the flu, which made me sick for about a wk. I didnt really have a cough untill yesterday. Thing is i dont cough all day long, only when i lay down at night. So my question is this, can anybody please explain to me why, when I'm up walking around, I dont cough, and my nose isnt as stuffy, but when i go to lay down i break out in a coughing attack, and my nose becomes real congested??

You should not feel dirty about your self. It was NOT your fault. The emotions you are going through are very normal for a person whio has been ually abused. I believe you still will be able to get married and have children one day. It just takes time to heal spiritually and emotionally. I know it may be hard to speak to others about what happened, but I suggest you maybe go to group therapy for survivors of ual abuse. You get to also speak to others who are going through what you are going through. Trust me, it DOES help alot. Also, I wouldn't worry right now about telling others what happened to you, unless you are comfortable doing so and if it helps you to speak about it. You owe no one an explaination.. I don't want them on the site even when they are at home much less at school unless they are somewhat supervised. I want to know the information that they are putting out there to the public. To me..it really is about keeping my teenager safe. I realize that the whole school day is not used on studying. Of course children are also going to have fun and socialize. Feeling unloved and unwanted lately?

Halti dog collar how safe are these collars?

Help what's wrong with my little girl?

My daughter is 11 weeks old now and yesterday she was extra irritable and grizzy more then normal. Then last night she had a terrible sleep, she went down at 7.30 and would normal sleep for 5-9 hours and only wake 1-2 during the night but last night she woke at 10.30pm, 12.30am, 2.30am, 5am then 6am and we're up for the day. Each time she just wanted to feed but would only take 1/2 a bottle. She seemed to have more wind but this might be cause I was awake more and noticed it. She hasn't slept this bad since we were in hospital. Also one of my friends reckon's she's teething as she keeps chewing on her dummy/pacifier and bottle teat. Radio for 2004 toyota sienna

the cd player in my 2004 toyota sienna is broken, probably from my son putting about 1.85 worth of change in it. I am trying to find a used radio. I currently have the cd/cette radio. Will a radio from a newer sienna work in my 04. I have found a several JBL radios online, but I am unsure they wil fit. the plugs in the back look the same. I have 4 plugs in the rear of the radio, the jbl has 3. I am uming the extra plug on my radio is for the tape deck. the jbl does not have a tape deck. any suggestions?

Chocolate theme bridal shower cake?

I have been trying to find a chocolate themed bridal shower cake without any luck. The bride really likes the hershey brownie from texas steakhouse, it's a brownie with a chocolate bar melted on top. I was thinking of doing this but with a cake and using white icing to write on it. But, I will have to make the cake a couple days before the shower so how do I make sure the chocolate is melted slightly. I want to be able to still make out the candy bar so I don't want it completely melted. Texas Steakhouse probably just puts the chocolate on top while the brownie is still warm. I'm just wondering if other people's words affected you as much as they did me! It's amazing how much making fun of someone can do so much damage and even cause problems later on in life! I think if kids (and adults for that matter) show what it did to people whether short-term or long-term, they might think before speaking. What makes me so mad is how kids just said things to me to make me feel bad. Sometimes I think they were jealous because I was probably the richest kid in grade school but I was painfully shy. Can you switch a 5 month old from a soy based formula back to a milk based formula?

My 5 month old was switched to soy formula from milk formula due to gas and cramps when she was 6 weeks old. She has done great with the soy in that way(no more cramps or gas), but she has had chronic constipation issues from the soy. I try to talk to the doctor and she just tells me to give the baby more juice. That works sometimes, but it is not a fix to the overall problem.I hate to see her strain and suffer to push out a few small pebbles of poop! When would you suggest i start handling my ball python?

First of all, I would wait to handle it for about a week. Let it get used to its surroundings. As for holding a snake 48hrs after eating, it's recommended that you don't hold it because it could regurgitate. When changing from live to frozen/thawed, ball pythons could be a bit picky. I would recommend getting large feeding tongs and move the mouse a bit if the snake hasn't eaten it after about half an hour. Feeding after 15 days is correct, but always make sure that the feeder is a good size (same width as the thickest part of the snake in ball pythons). *reads over again* I think I answered all of your questions :)

As long as you can establish taht you are going to receive that income every month there is no reason it would not be included in your application as legitimate income. How do I keep my sanity while my mother and father in law live with me.?

There is so much detail to add but I will try to keep it reasonable. I've been married for 16 years with no children, my husband basically is a Moma's boy, we lived practically next door for the first 6 years, then moved about 80 miles away. My husband called daily sometimes more than once. I had no say my holiday had to be with his mother and father, never mine. later in years I attempted to make plans to share holidays with my sister in law. recently we bought our first house and of course it was an absolute no, to have the holidays at my new home. Along with a huge amount of disfunction with my brother and sister in law. My father in law was diagnosed with parkinson's. There was so much going on with nightly calls and mother in law's depression and crying and not to mention my own husbands not dealing well with this sickness, we decided that we did not want him to end up in a convalesant home. And with no help or communication with my brother in law 7 months after finally getting my new home we decide to move the in laws in. Needless to say it has caused jelousy with my brother in law, 2 months later, My father in law told us that his now new doctor did not believe he had parkinsons and started to low his medication, we seen a hugh turn around for about 2 to 3 weeks, he was like his old self, the next thing I know he has another doctors appointment and they say now he might have it. He of course came home depressed started to self medicate himself and then says he wants to kill himself. My husband of course after work sets for hours on end trying to entertain and console them both. especially his Mom. Working together as women I thought she would be a little more independent and help with the cooking, she wont even read a letter, write a bill she has always been needy, weak and so unbelievable dependent on her husband. but now it's me who handles everything, including all my own bills, and problems, along with working more than 40 hours a week and driving and dropping of my husband. Yet every one in the house treats her like a pricess, I'm stressed and tired. I feel that this good deed will effect my / our relationship from now on. We argued this weekend and they have threatened to move out. Of course I feel guilty I wish I could just put on an act and pretend I'm happy but it shows all over my face. It's especially due to the lack of privacy.

How do I get my parents to stop smoking?

My parents have been smoking for years. I have asthma and I have a 3 year old little brother. My parents try not to smoke around us and used to smoke out of our chimney in the winter. But now we just moved into a new house, and there is no fireplace so they just smoke in the house. They Can't afford to use those quit smoking programs and buying cigarettes 3 times a day doesn't help. I need help understanding the electoral college?

Here is what you need to understand. According to Article II of the Constitution the states have to select electors who will vote for president at the electoral college vote. The method for choosing these electors of left up to the states. Currently all of the states have chosen to use a popular vote by their people in order to choose electors. The states elect the president. The president is supposed to represent the union, not the people except in a diplomatic sense. Electors are proxy voters for the states. The national popular vote means nothing. If it did we would be more like a true democracy which would be an inferior form of government to what we have. As it was originally crafted and as it still should be the people are represented in the House of representatives. The states were represented in the Senate and the Union is represented by the president who is supposed to be the attorney-in-fact for the Union.

IMO anything is better then the really crappy Meow Mix (should be taken off the market). Its not the best canned food (lots of by products) but better then what you are giving now. If you can afford it, add in some plain boiled chicken or lightly cooked beef to the diet 3-4 times a week for extra protein.

This is something you can do easily yourself though it consumes much time. Perfection doesn't mean skill, it means nothing if you practice as hard as you can and you don't like your music. Practice can only take you so far in life. When everyone was still playing twinkle twinkle little star with there private lesson teacher on there first week I was mastering Prelude Suite 1 Bach by myself, anyways the point is you have to be determined and love your music all the way for it to be perfect. You should listen to each one individually and check the music scores, choose out which ones you want to practice and play first then go on to the next ones. For me i would sort them out hardest to easiest and the ones at i like the most, then rank them all. I would practice my favorites first then do a few of the easy ones to warm up, the hard ones, then finish up with the rest of the easier ones. Remember to review all the songs your learning for this competition. This is quite the list, it must be a long competition.

We have huge plants, in a small garden space. My tomatoes are showing signs of wilt, but perk up after rain. I think it is something you could talk to the people in charge about. But if you truly live in an orphanage then there are probably a lot of other kids that want on the computer too. Attention is probably lacking in every orphanage, simply because there are just so many orphans and only so much help. If you want to have something to do, look into finding some books you can read. Okay so we have to create a travel brochure that describes a plant or animal as if it were a real life feature or complex.
