How do you......... get over a guy?

okay.... watever. So i like this guy, but i want to get over him since he hurt me twice already. So how do you people get over someone you liked? I've never really been good friends with him and most of all we never talk, look at eachother or come in contact................. geez....... im pathetic. I act like I hate him at the moment, but when I think of him...... i stuff my face with icecream, pizza, and popcorn. And that aint helpin me at all?
