Do you know any avenue to help publicize my book?

My first self published book, "Acorns of the Soul," hit the market in the month of April 2005. The sales have been lagging for a while now. Does anyone in the Answer World have any idea of how I can publicize my book more? Do you know of any creative avenue to create a widespread awareness for my book?
