Is it harder to get sponsored in snowboarding after you are 18?

Well my friend just got sponsored last year and he isn't the most amazing rider I mean he's pretty good he can throw 3's, 5's, and 7's but there is people throwing 9's and corked 5's that aren't sponsored and that is because they have a rep at my hill for being ***** to everybody and shops don't want those kind of riders so while you need to throw spins and cabs and crap have a good attitude don't act better than the other kids volunteer to help out at events and the shops will take an interest in you. Just get involved at your hill.
