Can a middle-aged and imperfect woman be a webcam girl and make decent money doing it?

I am a middle-aged woman and I don't consider myself a beauty queen by any means...I don't think I am ugly either, but I would like to become a webcam girl for fun and profit. My understanding is you have to be young and pretty to be a webcam girl, but the person trying to recruit me insists that men have varying tastes in women. She believes that my age and imperfections (big hips, small ) are what some men are into and that I can make good money because I am not the young and pretty stereotype. What do you think? Are there any other imperfect woman out there doing this sort of thing? Do you make decent money at this and how?
