How Does Manning's and Brady's loss in the Superbowl affect their legacy?

I think it does, but it shouldn't. Both QB's weren't to blame for their teams losses. Manning threw for over 300+ yards, but their defense couldn't stop the Saints. Brady led a drive to give the Pats the lead with less than 2 minutes left. But then Tyree had the catch on his helmet that will never be repeated. Neither one of these two players could play defense for his team.
