Avon representative??

ive been thinking about becoming one to earn myself a bit of extra cash. But ive heard it can be a waste of time. i was just wondering if any of you are one or have been in the past and can give me some advice?? i was also wondering if anybody can tell me how much the brochures are?? thanks a lot
