Which violin positions are the most important to know?

I had been learning violin for a few years. I know the 1st and 3rd positions very well and tip-toed around the 2nd. After a break of five years I want to dust off on those and learn the rest. I can no longer afford a private teacher so which positions would you say I should learn to reinforce my basics?
