We have houses in our secondary school too. I am in green team and most of my favourite teachers are in my team - you totally wanted to know that? anyhow, back to topic, I think you should certainly NOT tell the school since your in the wrong here, I'm sorry to say. Just try and go to the meetings in the future? Even if they are boring.
