What are some Lebanese cultural traditions?

I am Lebanese myself and we have a lot of traditions relating to food. Before Christmas different types of seeds (mainly chickpeas) are planted in cotton wool and are grown throughout Christmas. Lebanon is the only Middle Eastern country that celebrates Christmas. A lot of foods are traditional as well. Backlava, fattoush, falafel, hummus (which is really good it's just ground chickpeas and olive oil), kibbeh, among others. In a Lebanese marriage, a "zaffeh" occurs, which is the act of escorting the bride to the groom.
